Support the end-to-end onboarding process for all new starters across the group using our ATS, from offer acceptance through to start date.
Responsibilities
* Conduct all compliance checks including right to work, DBS, references, medical questionnaires, and overseas worker documentation.
* Prepare and issue contracts and contractual amendments, ensuring all documentation is returned, signed, and filed appropriately.
* Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries and actions within agreed SLAs, escalating to the Senior HR Administrator where required.
* Support HR system administration and ensure data is accurately maintained for HR and payroll processing.
* Transfer all new starter information to payroll in a timely and compliant manner to meet payroll deadlines.
* Provide administrative support for contractual changes including maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave.
* Assist with HR audits, reference requests, and document management to ensure ongoing compliance with safer recruitment and data protection standards.
* Keep up to date with legislative and policy changes impacting HR, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships across all divisions, providing professional and responsive HR support.
* Ensure all onboarding and HR activities are delivered in line with safeguarding and safer recruitment best practices for children and vulnerable adults.
Qualifications
* Experience in HR and/or payroll administration (essential).
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safeguarding.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and HR systems (ATS/HRIS).
* Team player who can work independently while supporting the wider HR team.
