Your new role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.Key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing subcontractors and coordinating trades on site
* Managing daily site activities and short-term programme delivery
* Ensuring strict adherence to health & safety procedures and standards
* Monitoring quality of works and ensuring compliance with specifications
* Leading site meetings and reporting on progress to the project team
* Managing logistics, materials, and resource allocation
* Resolving on-site issues efficiently to maintain programme targets
This is a freelance opportunity on a long-term, multi-phase project with significant scope. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction (build or major projects preferred)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating complex site activities
* A solid understanding of health & safety regulations and best practice
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage programme delivery
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid certification
