Why This Role? This team works at the forefront of health-related Employment matters affecting both public and private sector clients. The matters the team advises on are often complex and high profile. There is a huge amount of variety on offer in this role across contentious as well as advisory work. The firm is continuing to go through a significant period of investment and growth and the Employment Health team in particular is seeing real growth and success. Although it would be useful, this role does not require previous healthcare sector experience. It could therefore be the perfect role for an individual who would like to work in a specialist and continually growing field. The Work This role offers exposure to cutting-edge employment law matters within the healthcare industry, covering both public and private sector clients. You’ll work with: NHS Trusts and primary care providers, including GP practices Private healthcare providers such as fertility clinics and MedTech companies Health sector organisations dealing with evolving regulatory and employment challenges What’s On Offer? This role is open to recently or soon-to-be NQs who have completed an Employment seat or otherwise have practical experience of working within an Employment team previously. It is also open to candidates with a few years’ experience of working as an Employment lawyer. Whilst Respondent experience would be ideal, the team is still keen to consider candidates with Claimant experience who are looking to move into Respondent work.
