Location: Flexible UK base with regular travel (Head Office – Luton area)

About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group HR Manager to join a growing UK group of businesses operating across manufacturing, sales, service, and industrial project sectors. This newly defined role will lead the people agenda across a diverse and evolving organisation, driving engagement, capability, and performance through strategic and operational HR leadership.
Working closely with the UK senior leadership team, the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping a connected, high-performing culture across multiple sites. This is a hands-on and highly visible position—ideal for a proven HR leader who thrives in a dynamic, multi-business environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver the UK people strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
* Drive employee engagement through initiatives that enhance communication, inclusion, recognition, and well-being.
* Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all business units.
* Ensure consistent HR policies, frameworks, and employment law compliance across all UK operations.
* Develop leadership and talent pipelines, succession plans, and career development programmes.
* Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with commercial objectives and future growth.
* Lead HR integration and cultural alignment for new acquisitions or group expansions.
* Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals, ensuring effective support across multiple UK sites.
* Build and launch a UK Academy to promote technical, leadership, and digital skills development.
* Create talent mobility opportunities, including cross-company secondments, apprenticeship pathways, and succession planning.
* Act as a trusted coach to senior leaders on change management and inclusive leadership.
Experience & Qualifications
* Proven HR leadership experience across multi-site or multi-business environments.
* Strong track record in employee engagement, people development, and organisational design.
* Demonstrated ability to manage change and influence at senior leadership level.
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
* Flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.
* CIPD Level 7 (Chartered) or equivalent qualification desirable.
