Job Title: Conference & Events Sales Executive - CentralLocation: Multiple Venues, BristolSalary: Up to £28,000 per annumContract: Full-Time, Permanent Working across a collection of unique venues located in the South West, joining a corporate hospitality sales team, curating memorable experiences for customers. As a Sales Executive, you are at the heart of our operation, and we are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion to convert event sales bookings and revenue. You'll be working as part of our fantastic sales team and ensuring all customer's needs are met and their expectations are exceeded, with a focus on increasing corporate event businessThe role will include conducting site visits through to meeting customers to establish final details whilst ensuring every customer receives a high standard of service from start to finish. Accountable for ensuring all event orders and supporting documents are detailed and accurate before handing over to the operations team as well as ensuring that invoices are raised, and payments received in line with company payment terms. You will be proactive in gaining and responding to customer feedback and securing repeat bookings through post event calls.Responsibilities:Conducting sales activities including responding to telephone and e-mail enquiriesFollowing up on all enquiries within a specific time scale with an aim to convert to confirmed bookingsTo secure venue show rounds for the BDM's and Event PlannersTo achieve agreed sales targets by driving conversionIssuing contracts to customers once bookings are convertedEnsuring all details and requirements of confirmed bookings are handed over accurately to the Event PlannerCross-selling – multi location proposals in and around Bristol venuesProactive calls focusing on past bookers, lost and turned down enquiries and lapsed accountsTo always be aware of sales activity/initiatives of our competitors and use this market intelligence, acting upon it to ensure RA Venues obtains its market share in this sectorTo maintain accurate, up-to-date reports and informationTo maintain the Delphi FDC booking system compliance benchmarkTo maintain the Sandown Mystery Shop benchmarkTo maintain relationships with regional agent accounts through telephone and direct mail activitySupport innovative campaigns for the Sales and Marketing planTo achieve and exceed agreed national sales campaign targetsOpportunity to attend local/national FAM Trips and ShowcasesAlways responding positively and efficiently to customers, ensuring repeat business is optimisedTo perform ad hoc tasks as directed.The Ideal Candidate:Minimum 2 years' experience in a proactive enquiry handling sales role, preferably within a high-profile Conference & Events venue, with a proven track record of achieving sales targetsPrevious experience of a dairy management systemMinimum 1 year experience in the Bristol marketMulti-site selling experienceHigh degree of commercial awareness and to be able to understand links between sales and profitKnowledge of Delphi/ Salesforce CRMWe ensure you\'re rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:Free mealsOnsite free car parkingContributory pension schemeGrow your career with our Career Pathways and MyLearning programmesQuick access for you and your immediate family to a Digital GP, and wider healthcare benefitsExclusive travel discounts with TUI, Expedia, Booking.com and many moreSave money on your food shop with discounts on Tesco, Sainsbury\'s, Morrisons and many moreUp to 44% off cinema tickets to enjoy your favourite blockbusterReceive cash rewards every time you spend and use them on a wide range of brandsUn-wind with us with free wellness, mindfulness and exercise classesYou can share all discounts and offers with your friends and familiesAbout Us:Part of Compass Group UK&I, Restaurant Associates provides brilliant hospitality through our food, drink and services.
