🍽️ Catering Manager - Education Site | Lyme Regis
Salary: £27,000 | Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week | Start time: 7:30-8:00am
We're recruiting a Catering Manager to lead a dynamic and dedicated team at a medium-sized, multi-site education facility in Lyme Regis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a well-established catering operation, delivering high-quality food services to around 500 students daily.

👥 About the Role:
You'll be managing a team of 12 staff, including General Assistants, Coordinators, and Cooks, overseeing both break and lunch service. The catering offer includes main meals and grab-and-go options, tailored to meet the needs of a busy educational setting.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day catering operations across the site
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service
Manage staffing, rotas, and training to maintain a motivated team
Monitor food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
Collaborate with site leadership to support student wellbeing through nutrition

Proven experience in catering management, ideally within education or similar settings
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Excellent communication and team-building abilities
Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance
Passion for delivering nutritious, appealing meals in a fast-paced environment
