We have a great opportunity for a sales executive to join our team, you will be working within the sales team and responsible for ensuring the growth and development of the wedding and events business. Actively contributing to driving sales, your role will involve reservations, responding to enquiries for weddings and events, coordinating all administrational requirements, communicating with event organisers and guests and liaising with the management team to ensure a seamless transition of information from the sales office to operations
The role of Weddings Coordinator:
Client Interaction:
* Respond to client inquiries via telephone and email, ensuring a prompt and professional approach.
* Conduct follow-ups on enquiries, quotes, and show-around appointments to maximize conversion and retention.
Sales Operations:
* Raise or revise quotations, generate invoices, and enter orders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
* Utilise our booking system (Rezlynx) to update critical business information and allocate tasks efficiently within the team, and to communicate effectively to the operations team.
* Follow all internal processes for billing & payments, checking in & out events, ensure correct billing instructions are adhered to.
* Oversee 3rd party websites generating enquiries ensuring details & content are up to date at all times.
Event Coordination:
* Plan and host venue appointments and client events to showcase our offerings.
* Coordinate and attend wedding fayres, representing our commitment to excellence.
Collaboration and Reporting:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers.
* Generate stats for sales & operations meetings to ensure accurate planning, understanding sales leads & lost business reporting
* Provide regular sales updates and financial forecasts to the leadership team on a weekly basis.
* Have a creative mind to stay ahead of the latest wedding trends and ideas of how to reach new clients.
We are looking for someone with previous wedding and events sales experience. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate previous skills gained from working in this environment.
The candidate must be able to work flexible hours, predominantly on a working pattern of Wednesday - Sunday, with at least one weekend off a month. You must be smart and presentable in their appearance and have a passion for customer service and selling.
