The Role
Were looking for a hands-on Website Developer to own end-to-end delivery of marketing sites, content platforms, and lightweight web apps. Youll collaborate with designers and PMs to turn Figma files and content models into performant, SEO-friendly, WCAG-compliant sites.
What youll do
* Build responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Tailwind), JavaScript/TypeScript.
* Develop with modern frameworks (React / ) and CMSs (WordPress or headless: Contentful/Sanity/Strapi).
* Implement components, templates, and content models that editors love to use.
* Optimise performance and Core Web Vitals; ship accessible experiences (WCAG 2.2 AA).
* Integrate third-party services/APIs (forms, CRM, analytics, payment, search).
* Set up CI/CD, version control (Git), environments, and basic cloud hosting (Vercel/Netlify/AWS).
* Write tests (Jest/Cypress) and maintain high code quality through reviews.
* Collaborate in Agile sprints; estimate, document, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
What youll bring
* 3+ years professional experience in website development (agency or product).
* Strong semantic HTML, modern CSS (Flexbox/Grid), and accessible patterns.
* Solid JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with
* Practical CMS experience: WordPress (PHP) or headless; comfortable modelling content.
* Understanding of technical SEO, structured data, and analytics (GA4, GTM).
* Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and CI.
* A portfolio/GitHub demonstrating shipped, production-quality sites.
Nice to have
* Shopify (Liquid), WooCommerce, or e-commerce integrations.
* Node/Express, GraphQL/REST, serverless functions.
* Design systems, Storybook, or component libraries.
* Docker, basic cloud (AWS/Azure), and IaC awareness.
* Experience with consent management and privacy best practices (GDPR).

Pay: £44,420.00-£81,406.69 per year
