We have 2 vacancies for Learning Mentors, with a vacancy on each campus, at Deansway and Brittain Lane. As a learning mentor, some of your responsibilities will be to: • Supervise safe arrival and departure of all pupils at allocated school site • Meet and greet children, young people and families being a point of contact for families • Compete chronologies and keep intervention trackers up to date • Deliver small group or 1-1 therapeutic provision e.g. Lego therapy, girls/boys group emotional welling being sessions, story massage etc • Create social scripts and visual supports such as Communicate In Print (CIP) timetables • Support pupils with defensive or risk behaviours both at home and school • Support pupils and families to achieve high attendance, complete home visits and safe and well checks. • Run daily lunchtime clubs according to the pupil’s interests • Support Pastoral Manager to deliver identified early help • Willingness to train as a TEAM TEACH trainer • Support pupils with developing progress with personal care both at school and home • Support Pastoral Manager in delivering/facilitating parent workshops • Support with transitional needs • Attend CIN and Early Support meetings • Work with a range of external professionals e.g play therapists, CAMHS Evergreen School is part of the Warwick Schools Foundation Multi Academy Trust.
