Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We have demonstrable experience delivering production-grade applications using Oracle APEX in a mid-sized to large organisation or complex environment. We have recent experience developing applications using Oracle APEX in a production environment, ideally version 22.2. We have knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database design principles. We can write clean, efficient, and well-structured code with strong attention to performance and security. We have experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary digital team. We have a robust understanding of Oracle APEX, including front-end, back-end, and cybersecurity considerations within the ecosystem. Responsibilities: We develop and maintain application components using Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and related technologies. We continue building our knowledge of Oracle APEX and best practices through day-to-day delivery and supported learning. We collaborate closely with our product owner, testers, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver user-focused solutions. We apply established MOD standards for security, accessibility, and performance across all development tasks. We take part in estimating, code reviews, testing, and documentation to support quality and maintainability. We contribute to a live production environment while also supporting longer-term feature builds. We work as part of a collaborative digital delivery team alongside a Solutions Architect and Senior Developers to deliver well-structured and secure solutions.
