Job Description
The Sales Executive represents the business in the marketplace, acting as the principal liaison between Operations and third-party distributors such as OTAs, STOs, wholesalers, PCOs, and travel agents. The role involves positioning the hotel to maximize occupancy and revenue, coordinating with Sales, Reservations, and Operations to ensure seamless service delivery. The Sales Executive also ensures timely updates of service, rate, and promotional information to distributors and may attend trade shows and events to promote the hotel.
Qualifications
* Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management or Financial Management
* Extensive background in Sales and Marketing
* At least 3 years of experience in sales operations within a luxury hotel
* Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
* Proficiency in OPERA and Microsoft Office applications
* Strong understanding of up-sell and cross-sell strategies
* Ability to analyze market data and create market studies
* Strategic planning skills and ability to anticipate future needs
* Financial acumen and good practice in financial management
* Experience managing various booking channels
