About The Role
Hesley Group are looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Recruitment to join as a key member of the organisation’s People Services function.
The Head of Recruitment will be responsible for managing and driving the recruitment function across the Group. This role involves creating and executing comprehensive recruitment strategies, ensuring the Group attracts, selects, and retains high-calibre health and social care professionals. The role also acts as the governance lead for assurance on safer recruitment and legislative compliance.
This position requires collaboration with Heads of Service and department leaders to develop workforce planning based on market analysis and demographic data. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of inclusive recruitment processes, emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
You will provide motivating leadership to the Recruitment Team, setting objectives, monitoring progress, and fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous professional development. Innovation and problem-solving will be encouraged within the team.
This role ensures compliance with safer recruitment guidelines, employment legislation, and Hesley Group policies, safeguarding the Group’s reputation.
About You
We seek a proactive recruitment specialist with leadership experience in regulated sectors such as health, social care, or education. Knowledge of employment law, visas, sponsorship, DBS, and right-to-work regulations is essential.
A strong alignment with our values of kindness, compassion, and empathy is required, along with an understanding of delivering person-centred services in social care.
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and performance metrics is necessary. Candidates should hold a postgraduate degree in HR or a related field and a Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
