Product Quality ManagerAssignment Type: Temporary, ongoing basis where you will be engaged via HaysLocation: ChichesterWorking Environment: office based on sitePay type:petitive hourly pay rateOur clientThe world’s pre-eminent super-luxury automotive brand is based in Goodwood, near Chichester, West Sussex, whichprises its global headquarters and Global Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence.The RoleWhat awaits you?Job Responsibilities and DescriptionThe product quality manager is responsible for steering the Plant Goodwood quality sensors to raise PQM incidents according to the requirements of the Problem Management Process (PMP). The alignment of the problem severity and that basic level zero analysis has beenpleted and documented within the PQM incident.
Responsible for assigning PQM problems to the problem owners, driving the Plant Goodwood A-T PQM landscape against plant targets, according to the BMW Problem Management.Process and for the transfer of all customer's relevant PQM problems to the A-LPP product line PQM landscape.Responsible for the monitoring of PQM problem status for correct priority, consistency, effectiveness and quality of information documented by the problem owner.Responsible for the alignment of incidents between reporting lines T (Production), V (Service) and E (Development).Steering and maintaining CR-T-5-G-2 owned KPIs (DpU, Rework, Average Runtime, Customer Protection, Q-Index) and reporting deviations against defined target.Ensuring the progression of all new PQM incidents raised by reporting line T (0-10 in 5 working days).Ensuring all problems must be hand-shaken to the relevant technologies.Ensuring all problems at Status' have the correct requirements and documentation. Ensuring the measures implemented are effective and providing the of SPOE confirmation when assigned as the evaluator (SPOEs processed should have sensor confirmation and IPSQ data attached.)Weekly attendance at the PMP Landscape Review Circle (all critical issues escalated).Steering, transfer and handshake of relevant problems from A-T to A-LPP when a concept relevant solution is required.
Requirements/Preferences
