Data Architect - Customer Salary/Package: £95,000 - £100,000 per annum 25% Bonus Hybrid (Hounslow/West London) We’re currently supporting a leading organisation as they hire a highly experienced Data Architect to join their expanding data team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a data specialist to play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale data architecture within a highly complex and regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead on the design and delivery of robust data architectures that align with business objectives Develop data governance policies to ensure data integrity, quality, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA) Build and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) across multiple domains Oversee data integration pipelines, ETL processes, and enterprise data warehousing solutions Act as the SME on sensitive data handling, including consent management, retention, and encryption Enable self-service reporting capabilities across business units, empowering users to make data-driven decisions Collaborate with Solution Architects, Cloud Architects, and other key technical stakeholders Experience Required: Proven background designing and delivering enterprise-level data architecture Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks Strong technical expertise in ETL, data integration, and warehousing (cloud & on-premise) Skilled in database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure or GCP Comfortable with sensitive data management (privacy, consent, encryption) Experience working with customer data platforms such as Salesforce or similar Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Desirable: Exposure to big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) Knowledge of integrating ML models and AI into data platforms Industry certifications (e.g. CDMP, AWS, Azure) Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) This role offers: A genuine opportunity to shape and influence data architecture across the business, while working alongside senior leadership and subject matter experts.
