What will I be doing?
As a Group, Conference, and Events (GCE) Executive, you will maximize revenue opportunities in group reservations, conferences, and events by driving sales leads and increasing conversions. You will interact frequently with guests and customers to earn repeat and expanded business. Specifically, your tasks will include:
* Receiving and converting incoming enquiries to achieve targets and maximize revenue
* Managing an events schedule to maximize yield
* Focusing on a consistently executed up-selling approach
* Building strong relationships with customers to understand their needs
* Arranging and carrying out hotel show rounds
* Ensuring complete administration and execution of all planned events
* Participating in hotel promotional activities
What are we looking for?
* Good organizational and administrative skills
* Positive attitude and good communication skills
* Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
* Confident telephone manner
* High level of IT skills
* Experience working in a sales environment
* Knowledge of hotel property management systems (advantageous)
* Experience in the Conference and Events sector (advantageous)
* Relevant qualifications, degree, or certification (preferred)
