As Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
* Lead the Quality Department, including Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Auditors.
* Maintain and continually improve the AS9100 Quality Management System.
* Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
* Ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
* Manage supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits.
* Act as the key contact for customer quality concerns and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications, Experience And Attributes Required
* Proven experience in a Quality Management role within aerospace or a similar highly regulated industry.
* Strong knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
* Experience leading audits and managing QMS systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
* Lean / Six Sigma qualifications (desirable).
