Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Cook. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment. This role involves preparing meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
* Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
* Ensure presentation meets our standards.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a kitchen or restaurant setting.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
