We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage the human resources function globally for a boutique, elite Private Equity firm. This role will be central to shaping the employee experience, driving HR strategy, and ensuring compliance across multiple regions, with a strong foundation in UK employment law and global HR best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
* Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver HR strategies aligned with business objectives; advise leadership on HR matters; champion DEI initiatives.
* Talent Management: Oversee recruitment, onboarding (UK and internationally), succession planning, and career development in collaboration with team leads.
* Compliance & Risk: Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation (including GDPR, equality, health & safety), and coordinate on global HR compliance.
* Performance Management: Manage and enhance performance review processes, employee engagement, and productivity initiatives.
* Compensation & Benefits: Develop market-aligned compensation and benefits strategies; manage HR and recruitment budgets.
* Global HR Integration: Standardise policies across offices, support HR operations in new market entry.
* Operational HR Leadership: Handle onboarding/off-boarding, employee relations, policy updates, payroll coordination, training programs, visa processes, and contract review in partnership with the General Counsel and Finance team.
Experience:
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including in a leadership capacity.
* In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Experience supporting HR functions across multiple countries is desirable.
* Background in financial services or investment management/private equity is a plus.
* Proven ability to drive cultural and organisational development.
