You'll be coming into this Hedge Fund to work on a systematic FX team, working closely with traders and analysts to build and enhance all systems. The majority of the systems are built using C# with Python and Excel integrations built in. Your code will have a direct impact on real-world trading, and you'll be able to see the results of your work, quickly with minimal red tape. It's a small team, so you won't be siloed with limited visibility of the work being done. You'll be involved in the action each day, seeing exactly what happens in the buy-side with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and the freedom to deliver. This will happen all whilst working with some of the brightest technical and analytical minds in the industry. What's also great, is you'll get a good work-life balance, only needing to be in the office for three days a week. Starting salary will be up to £130k plus bonuses based on performance of your team and the fund. In terms of experience, it's most likely you'll be coming from a banking background with a few years experience of quant development in C#. If you've worked in a similar financial environment and you're keen to broaden your experience, that'll work too but the key thing is you have C# experience. FX experience is desirable but your knowledge of various financial products and derivates will be tested at interview.
