The Works
As our Brand Standards & Quality Manager, you will be the guardian of operational excellence across our business. You’ll be accountable for creating, documenting, communicating, and auditing our brand and operational standards – ensuring every process is clear, consistent, and aligned with the Buzzworks way.
Working as part of the Learning & Development team, you’ll collaborate across all departments to ensure the highest quality of service and operational consistency is delivered at every level of the business.
Process & Standards Management
• Create and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for brand standards and operational processes
• Package processes into accessible training and communication materials for venue teams
• Develop and manage a simple, accessible digital platform for hosting and sharing process documents
• Ensure all standards reflect legal compliance, industry best practice, and Buzzworks values
Auditing & Development
• Design and deliver a regular auditing schedule across all venues
• Analyse audit results and produce action-oriented reports and recommendations
• Continuously review standards in response to business needs, customer experience, and audit outcomes
• Recommend and lead changes that support operational effectiveness and quality delivery
Collaboration
• Collaborate with all departments to understand practical application of standards and processes, identifying areas for improvement or standardisation
• Work with the L&D team to embed standards and processes into onboarding, e-learning and live training
• Identify skills gaps and recommend training interventions based on findings
Who you are:
• Experience in a quality, compliance or brand standards role within hospitality, retail, or a similar fast-paced industry
• Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
• A process-driven mindset with the ability to translate complex operations into simple steps
• Confident communicator – written, verbal and visual – with the ability to engage a range of audiences
• Comfortable using digital tools and systems to create and manage documentation
• A collaborative team player who thrives on working cross-functionally
• Passion for hospitality and a deep understanding of what ‘great’ looks like in customer experience
