A vacancy has arisen for a senior employment lawyer to join the in-house team and work closely with the Head of Employee Relations. This is an important and influential role requiring collaboration with senior stakeholders on complex and confidential matters.
Responsibilities
* Engage with key senior individuals in the business and act as a trusted advisor within the wider HR team.
* Provide up-to-date UK employment law advice on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
* Handle matters including complaints, grievances, claims, TUPE, and contribute to policy framework development.
* Prioritise tight deadlines, manage a busy workload, and balance competing deadlines while maintaining credibility at all levels.
Qualifications
* Qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales with at least 6 years’ PQE.
* Private practice experience, trained at a leading law firm, with preferably significant in-house experience.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law, with ability to advise on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
