Role: HR Officer - Fixed-Term Contract (12 months) - Belfast Job Overview VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced HR Officer. This role offers the opportunity to provide HR support across administration, employee relations, and training, ensuring efficient processes and strong stakeholder relationships. Salary : Competitive 12 month FTC Hybrid working What you'll do: Manage HR administrative processes, including recruitment support, onboarding, probation, offboarding, retirement, payroll queries, and HR operations updates. Advise and assist managers on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary procedures, meetings, and correspondence. Support and implement initiatives to enhance engagement, communication, and organisational culture. Coordinate and deliver training programmes, identify development needs, schedule courses, and act as a central point of contact for employee learning. Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application across the organisation. Maintain accurate employee records and foster positive working relationships with managers and colleagues, offering advice and support where needed. What you'll need: Relevant third-level qualification in HR, Business, or related discipline; CIPD or equivalent professional accreditation. Minimum of two years' experience in HR, including exposure to employee relations and HR operations, with strong knowledge of employment legislation. Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently. Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching, and influencing skills to build trust and effective relationships at all levels. Flexibility to travel between sites and work varied hours as required, with resilience and adaptability to change.
