Quality Manager - Calibration and Measuring Systems

What you'll do
Your role as Quality Manager, Calibration & Measuring Systems is to be responsible for maintenance, calibration, repair, and continuous development of all processes and utility equipment from a chemical, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation perspective. You will regularly participate in groups to improve the product and the manufacturing process from product introduction to end of life, and interact with other Agratas facilities worldwide to share knowledge and establish best practices.
* Managing all activities within the Calibration and Measuring System area
* Ensure calibration of utility, process and laboratory instrumentation
* Assist with installation, operational, and process qualification for new and existing equipment
* Plan and act as a subject matter expert with MSA studies
* Evaluate calibration data, identify adverse trends and failures
* Implement ISO management system to the quality labs (including UKAS/ISO IEC 17025)
* Support LIMS implementation in all quality areas
* Assist the team with running analytical tests on a variety of chemical and mechanical instruments

The UK business HQ is in the Midlands and we are building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The team you'll join
The Quality team is a dynamic group across company quality, product quality and plant quality. Being a relatively new team, you’ll help create and implement new processes and help build large-scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.
What you'll bring
* Proven industry experience in the calibration of chemical and mechanical equipment
* Practical experience within highly regulated manufacturing industries; batteries would be an advantage
* Subject matter expert in MSA
* Subject matter expert in ISO/IEC 17025
* Experience leading and coordinating teams
* Experience troubleshooting analytical instruments/equipment
* Knowledge of SPC and Lean Six Sigma principles
* Knowledge of quality management systems
