If you're an experienced Administrator with some HR experience and you're ready to level up your career, this could be your moment! We're looking for a HR Administrator to join our People Services Team in Newcastle. In this role, you'll support the full employee lifecycle – from new starters to smoothly managing leavers. You'll be updating records, issuing contractual documents, and acting as the friendly first point of contact for HR queries, helping our people get the answers they need. This is a brilliant opportunity to build hands‑on HR experience within a fast‑paced HR Shared Service Centre, working alongside a supportive team who'll help you grow your skills and confidence. This role is hybrid with 3 days per week based at our office in Newcastle (Tuesday to Thursday).
What you’ll be doing:
* Onboarding new starters, processing changes, managing leavers, and supporting leave of absence requests.
* Managing a high volume of HR cases using our case management system.
* Being the friendly first point of contact for HR questions about systems, policies, and processes.
* Accurately updating HR records.
* Creating and sending out contracts and HR letters.
* Getting involved in ad‑hoc projects and monthly reporting that help the team run like clockwork.
What you’ll bring:
* Administration experience – with good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Experience managing a high volume of administrative tasks.
* A passion for HR and helping others.
* Great communication skills, both over email and on the phone.
* Passion for providing a high‑quality customer service.
* Able to prioritise workload within a busy administrative role.

* HR Administration experience.

Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum dependent on experience.
