Splunk Developer
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Splunk Developer for a 6‑month contract inside IR35 based in Edinburgh offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on‑site.
Requirements
* Splunk Enterprise– strong hands‑on experience
* Splunk ITSI– proven experience with KPI design, service modelling, Glass Tables, episode review and RCA workflows
* SPL (Search Processing Language)– excellent command
* Strong understanding of data models & CIM, index management and performance tuning
* Experience integrating Splunk with application, infrastructure and cloud platforms
* Hands‑on experience with alerting, correlation searches and dashboards
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience in Splunk Observability (APM, Infrastructure Monitoring)
* CI/CD integration for Splunk content (Git, Jenkins, DevOps pipelines)
* Log and metric ingestion on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Splunk certifications: Power User, Admin, ITSI
* Automation and scripting with Python and shell
