On behalf of our client, an established aerospace tier 1 manufacturer, we’re actively recruiting a HR Manager to join their team in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will have worked in a regulated manufacturing sector such as Aerospace, Automotive, Defence, Medical or similar.
There is an expectation to travel regularly between 2 UK manufacturing facilities for the role, and this could occasionally be at very short notice.
Role & Responsibilities
* Managing and mentoring 2 HR Administrators.
* Being the internal escalation contact for any internal disciplinaries and wider HR queries.
* Where necessary, managing the exit of staff in a proper and respectful manner.
* Working closely with our recruitment partners to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new starters.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
* At least 5 years’ experience in a similar HR Manager position.
* Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering business, preferably an SME that has scaled their headcount.
* CIPD qualified.
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to speak with staff at all levels.
* Highly proficient in MS Office.
