About the job you're considering
Capgemini Engineering is looking for Supply Chain Quality Engineers with experience in Commercial Aerospace to join our rapidly growing team in Bristol, Belfast, Broughton, or Prestwick.
Hybrid working: Your work location will vary based on your role, needs, and business requirements, combining company offices, client sites, and your home; note that you cannot work entirely from home.

Your Role
1. Act as a key operational supplier interface, fostering trust and teamwork between the client and suppliers.
2. Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development; ensure workload continuity and prevent work disruptions.
3. Challenge suppliers on contract modifications to maintain ISO perimeter compliance (OTOCOQ).
4. Contribute to documentation that clarifies business relationships between ADS and suppliers (change requests, specifications, etc.).
5. Ensure quality and timely deliveries by managing milestones, product lifecycle reviews, and coordination of deliverables.
6. Verify compliance with applicable requirements and assess industrial maturity through inspections and assessments.
7. Lead supplier performance reviews and represent supply chain operations in various forums.
8. Initiate and manage supplier performance improvement projects and short-term recovery plans.
9. Identify industrial risks, propose mitigation actions, and communicate status and plans, escalating as needed.
10. Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, ensuring on-time, on-quality, and, when applicable, on-cost performance.
11. Manage supplier quality approvals, ensuring compliance with certification requirements.

Your Skills and Experience
1. At least three years of experience in manufacturing within the aerospace industry.
2. Three years of experience using an MRP/ERP tool, preferably SAP.
3. Ability to work effectively in volatile, high-pressure environments to resolve material supply issues.
4. Effective workload prioritization skills.
5. Clear communication skills for all interfaces.
6. Ability to work independently and proactively.
7. Experience reporting to internal and external customers.
