The role:
This is a key business development role focused on driving growth across the French market. You will be responsible for generating new business while managing and expanding existing client relationships. The role suits a confident, customer-focused sales professional with experience selling complex B2B software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive new business opportunities and achieve sales targets across software and associated services
* Build, manage, and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders
* Lead client meetings and presentations with confidence and credibility
* Develop and execute account strategies to support long-term growth and increased product adoption
* Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen market presence and share customer insights to inform product development
* Proactively manage your pipeline and maintain accurate records of customer activity within the CRM system
* Take initiative, contribute ideas, and actively support the company’s growth strategy in the French territory
The candidate:
Essential Requirements:
* Fluent French (spoken and written) to a high professional standard
* Proven experience in consultative B2B sales, ideally within a software or IT solutions environment
* Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
* Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
* Technically competent, with the ability to learn new products quickly
* Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
* Willingness to travel to France on a monthly basis
Desirable:
* Experience selling to the public sector, including responding to tender documents
