Interim 4 - 6 Month Contract
Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division are currently recruiting for a HR Manager for our Client, a leading FMCG organisation based in the Falkirk area.
This will be a site-based, standalone role. The contract is to cover an interim period to support a planned absence, estimated to last between 4 - 6 months, possibly longer.
Reporting to the Operations Director and part of the site Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading HR day-to-day operational activities for the site.
Responsibilities Include
* Manage recruitment plans and strategy, including onboarding and induction.
* Handle employee relations, including disciplinaries, grievances, attendance, and performance management.
* Build strong internal awareness of HR, encouraging employee engagement and positive working relationships.
* Work closely with the Operations Leadership team and attend regular management meetings.
* Serve as the point of contact for site employees and managers, providing guidance, coaching, and advice on HR policies.
* Monitor time and attendance data for accuracy and submit to Payroll for processing.
* Collaborate with internal teams including Group, Operations, Payroll, and Health & Safety.
* Devise learning and development plans, including succession planning and training needs assessment.
* Manage company rewards, including annual salary reviews, pensions, and holiday entitlement.
* Implement policies and procedures, ensuring communication and adherence across the site.
* Provide data and reports as required by site and Group.
* Maintain HR database, employee records, and files.
* Review and improve HR systems, processes, and procedures.
* Possess solid experience in a HR generalist role at Senior HR Advisor, HR BP, or HR Manager level.
* Ideally hold a degree and CIPD Level 5 or above, though experience will also be considered.
* Be comfortable working in a standalone, hands-on HR role covering all areas of HR.
* Demonstrate experience in employee relations and engagement with up-to-date UK employment law knowledge.
* Exhibit exceptional communication skills at all levels.
* Have confident IT skills, including MS Office, HR databases, T&A, and ERP systems.
