CSCS Site Manager – Civil Engineering / Utilities PLS Civil Engineering Ltd Port Talbot, South Wales £55,000 per annum Company Car Fuel Card Full-Time | Ongoing Works Job Overview PLS Civil Engineering Ltd are recruiting an experienced CSCS Site Manager to oversee civil engineering and utilities projects in the Port Talbot area. This is a documentation-driven management role requiring strong technical knowledge of trial holes, haul roads, trenching and duct installation works. You will be responsible not only for safe site delivery, but for producing accurate records and photographic evidence to support as-built drawings and client compliance. This position suits a highly organised and experienced utilities manager who understands the importance of quality paperwork and service protection. Key Responsibilities * Oversee daily site operations on civil engineering / utilities projects * Manage trial holes, service exposures, haul roads, trenching and duct installation * Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications * Maintain detailed photographic records (particularly trial holes and service locations) * Produce accurate site documentation for as-built drawing preparation * Supervise subcontractors and direct labour teams * Enforce RAMS and Health & Safety compliance at all times * Liaise with clients, inspectors and utility representatives * Monitor productivity and programme Essential Requirements * Valid CSCS Card (Black or Gold preferred) * NRSWA Supervisor qualification * Proven experience in utilities / infrastructure projects * Strong understanding of safe digging and underground services * Experience managing trenching and duct installation works * Fully computer literate (Excel, emails, document management systems) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong reporting and organisational skills * Full UK Driving Licence Desirable * SMSTS * First Aid at Work * Experience compiling as-built records * Experience working under NEC contracts Package * £55,000 per annum * Company car * Fuel card * Ongoing work in Port Talbot * Opportunity to progress within a growing contractor
