Venue Sales Executive – Central London

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Executive to join a prestigious Central London venue. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in converting enquiries into high-quality events while building strong, long-term client relationships.
The Role
Working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, you’ll take full ownership of event enquiries — guiding clients from initial contact through to successful delivery.
From corporate meetings to large-scale events, you’ll be instrumental in creating memorable experiences while driving revenue and exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
* Respond promptly and professionally to incoming event enquiries
* Prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts
* Convert leads into confirmed bookings and maximise revenue opportunities
* Attend industry events and exhibitions to generate new business
Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, and repeat bookers
* Understand client needs and provide creative solutions and upselling opportunities
* Conduct engaging and informative site visits
* Negotiate contracts to achieve commercially sound outcomes
Event Coordination
* Manage event diaries to optimise space utilisation
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery
* Act as a key point of contact on event days
* Ensure all event details are communicated accurately
Administration & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records of enquiries, bookings, and follow-ups
* Manage contracts, deposits, and invoicing processes
* Track performance against targets and support forecasting
About You
* Proven experience in event, venue, or hotel sales
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Proactive, target-driven, and commercially minded
* Confident negotiator with a strong customer focus
