Senior Food Safety & Quality Manager Location: Dungannon We are currently seeking a Senior Food Safety & Quality Manager to assist the technical manager in ensuring that site technical requirements are met. To interact with the technical and operations teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward Key Responsibilities: Designing, implementing, maintaining and continuous improving of HACCP based Quality Management System due diligence using industry best practice, customer best practice, BRC, Third Party / Legislative requirements / recommendations Co Ordinate and Manage HACCP Team and Activities Support the NPD Function to aid successful new product / process development through specifications, product information, reference samples, photographs, Use By schedules, proofing specifications, artwork verification etc Monitoring of factory cleaning and housekeeping and hygiene standards through first-hand auditing on the factory floor and analysis of the Audit Reports and development of action strategies as a result of repeated / trending of non-conformances. Contribution to cleaning specification development Provide technical guidance, training and support to other departments, developing awareness and understanding of technical issues. You will need: Experience as a QA Manager in the food industry Experience of managing and delivering KPI improvement Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate instructions as and when required. It is essential that you are a self-motivated individual who can work well under constant pressure and achieve consistently high results. Report writing and procedural writing skills. An advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes in particular; Excel, Word and Outlook. Initiative, self-motivated, well organised and assertive. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
