Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a leading professional services organisation to recruit a Senior Reward Manager for their expanding team.

This is a newly created position, reflecting the continued growth of the business and its commitment to attracting, retaining, and rewarding top talent. Reporting directly to the Head of Reward, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation’s reward strategy. Working as part of a small, specialist reward function, you will provide expert support to stakeholders across the UK, ensuring reward initiatives are competitive, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.

This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where your expertise will help drive both operational delivery and strategic projects.


Duties & Responsibilities:


* Lead and oversee the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of monthly payroll, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations, statutory obligations, and internal controls.
* Act as the subject matter expert on all payroll matters, benefits administration, and complex holiday pay calculations, providing clear guidance to managers and employees.
* Manage and nurture relationships with benefits providers, coordinate the annual benefits enrolment window, and identify opportunities to enhance and modernise the firm’s reward offering.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to design, implement, and refine reward and recognition frameworks that inspire engagement, support retention, and drive high performance.
* Monitor and interpret industry trends, legislation, and regulatory changes, ensuring all policies and processes remain fully compliant, competitive, and aligned with best practice.
* Play an active role in key people initiatives, including annual salary review cycles, bonus scheme administration, benefits renewals, and other strategic HR and reward projects.


Experience and Qualifications



* Proven expertise in managing payroll and benefits within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* In-depth understanding of HMRC guidance, current legislation, and compliance requirements, ensuring all processes and outputs are accurate and fully aligned with statutory obligations.
* Meticulous attention to detail combined with advanced Excel skills, enabling the production of accurate reports, analysis, and data-driven insights.
* Proactive and solutions-focused, with the capability to identify potential issues early, recommend improvements, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
* Excellent communicator, both in writing and verbally, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to a variety of audiences and build strong working relationships across the business.
