Offer description

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Administrator on a 12 month temporary basis to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of recruitment, pre-employment checks, onboarding and general administration

Responsibilities
·Carry out pre-employment checks and update managers on the progress
·Input new starters on the database
·Produce reports as required
·Liaise with managers to create job descriptions/adverts and advertise roles where necessary
·Manage the interview process
·Manage HR department email inbox
·Support the onboarding of new starters
·Organise new staff induction training
·Support the HR Team in general administration
·Be responsible for candidate file management
·Arrange meetings and act as minute-taker if required
·Book rooms and conference facilities for meetings or training
·Produce correspondence, documents, presentations, spreadsheets and reports

Experience
·Excellent organisational and administrative skills
·Superb attention to detail
·Knowledge of iTrent database advantageous but not essential
·Ability to prioritise workload
·CIPD qualification advantage
·High level of computer literacy – especially Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
·Previous experience in working in education or a regulated environment would be an advantage
·HR Administration experience would be ideal but not essential

The ideal candidate would be pro-active, calm under pressure, excellent communicator, flexible and have tact and discretion.

The role is Monday to Friday 0830am – 5pm in the office and there is free parking on site.

Pay is £14/hr

As the role is within an educational establishment the successful candidate will need to under go pre-employment checks and undertake an Enhanced DBS (unless already on the update service)
