About the Role
REED HR NI is working with our client based in Bangor to appoint a Human Resources Manager. This pivotal role involves leading and managing the strategic and operational HR functions of the organization, fostering a positive people culture, and aligning HR activities with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Serve as an effective member of the Senior Team, engaging positively with staff to maximize resources and promote a coaching mentality across HR processes.
2. Manage the Human Resources function to achieve the objectives outlined in the strategic and corporate plans.
3. Collaborate with the management team to deliver corporate strategies and business plans.
4. Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle and provide expertise on HR issues.
5. Maintain, review, and promote HR policies and procedures, ensuring their effective and consistent implementation.
6. Promote equality and diversity in all HR-related matters.
7. Manage HR risks, act as the ICO nominated person for Data Protection/GDPR, and lead health and safety management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* CIPD Qualification (Level 5 minimum)
* Proven experience in HR management, preferably in a similar role
* Strong understanding of HR processes and legal compliance with a strategic mindset
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience managing the full employee lifecycle
* Knowledge of employment law, GDPR, and health and safety regulations
* Proficiency in HR systems and databases
