Join our hardworking Derby Works Depot team as a Works Labourer. About the Role: In this role, you will help maintain the town’s roads, footpaths, parks, gardens, drainage systems, and open spaces. You will also work at the Derby Wharf and Derby and Curtin Airports, carrying out tasks such as general gardening, litter collection, minor repairs, and security duties. Key tasks include: Operating tools and equipment like whipper snippers, mowers, brush cutters, leaf blowers, tractors, and hand tools. Maintaining parks, gardens, street trees, and open areas. Carrying out minor repairs to roads, footpaths, and drainage. Assisting with airport and wharf duties including security and handling baggage. Following safety procedures and reporting any hazards.
