About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Front‑End Developer to join our dynamic Innovation & Development team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of digital products, including customer‑facing web applications, mobile platforms, and complex client portals used for portfolio management and authentication. The successful candidate will actively shape the user experience and functionality of our digital offerings, contribute to current projects and upcoming initiatives such as booking systems, digital experience enhancements, and AI‑driven features. The role is based in the Midlands with flexible hybrid working arrangements, balancing office presence and remote work.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front‑end development, proven experience building scalable and responsive applications, and a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, particularly React and TypeScript. Candidates should have experience with state‑management tools like Redux, a good grasp of HTML, CSS, and component‑based development practices. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, exposure to Azure DevOps, and experience with React Native for mobile app development. A proactive attitude, excellent problem‑solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members are highly valued.
Responsibilities
The Senior Front‑End Developer will design, develop, and maintain high‑quality front‑end applications, building reusable UI components within established libraries, ensuring responsiveness and accessibility across devices and platforms, and collaborating closely with UX and design teams to deliver intuitive user experiences. The role involves contributing to feature development for both web and mobile applications, supporting testing and code quality initiatives, implementing front‑end best practices, mentoring and supporting junior team members, and regularly participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of development processes.
