The Governors and Senior Leadership Team of St Thomas’s School are seeking to appoint a reliable, proactive and committed Caretaker to join our friendly and supportive school community.
This is a key role in ensuring our school is safe, clean, and ready to welcome pupils and staff each day.
Key Responsibilities
* Opening the school site each morning
* Ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and ready for the school day
* Managing a small team of cleaners
* Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs
* Monitoring cleanliness and liaising with cleaning staff where needed
* Ensuring health and safety checks are completed
* Responding to any urgent site issues promptly
Qualifications
* Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
* Has good practical maintenance skills
* Is able to work independently and use initiative
* Has a strong awareness of health and safety
