About the Role
The Learning Experience Developer (LED) is a new role at Word360, designed to support the growing learning and training needs of the business.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Create engaging learning experiences using instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
* Develop eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and other digital learning assets using tools such as Canva, WalkMe, and other industry software.
* Create scalable learning pathways for:
o Head office teams operational processes, systems training, and professional development.
o Linguists onboarding, compliance, service quality, and continuous development.
o Clients onboarding and platform training for NHS and public sector partners.
* Develop innovative learning assets (e.g., scenario-based modules, microlearning, gamified challenges, or video case studies) that bring the Word360 story and impact to life.
* Apply UX/UI principles to ensure an intuitive, learner‑centred experience.
* Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to assess learning needs and define measurable learning outcomes.
* Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to reimagine case studies, impact stories, and presentations as interactive learning or storytelling experiences.
* Contribute to the development of a learning culture across Word360 supporting upskilling, consistency, and innovation.
* Build, test, and deploy learning content in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and internal systems.
* Use analytics and learner feedback to evaluate and continuously improve learning solutions.
* Stay informed on emerging learning technologies, including AI‑driven learning, microlearning, and interactive media, to continuously enhance delivery methods.
* Design assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to measure learning effectiveness and platform adoption.
* Review and refine existing learning materials to keep content current, relevant, and aligned with Word360's mission and brand.
* Use insights and performance data to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate ROI.
Skills and Attributes Required
* Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
* 25 years of experience in instructional design or learning experience development.
* Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Eploy, Articulate 360).
* Experience designing for blended learning and digital‑first environments.
* Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
* Experience designing and delivering training for technology products or SaaS tools.
Preferred
* Experience with learning analytics, data visualisation, or AI‑enhanced learning.
* Skills in video editing, graphic design, or animation (Adobe Creative Cloud).
* Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG).
* Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS, or JavaScript for interactive learning content.
