Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced OpenVMS Developer with strong DCL (Digital Command Language) expertise to support and maintain legacy systems. The candidate will be responsible for scripting, automation, and system-level support on OpenVMS environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimize DCL scripts in OpenVMS environments
* Provide application and system support for OpenVMS-based systems
* Monitor and manage batch jobs, scheduling, and automation workflows
* Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis
* Work on system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations
* Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams
* Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
* Ensure system performance, reliability, and availability
Required Skills
* Strong experience with OpenVMS Operating System
* Hands-on expertise in DCL (Digital Command Language)
* Experience with batch job processing and scheduling
* Knowledge of file management, queues, and system utilities in OpenVMS
