Reporting To: Head of People

Compensation: £26,000 / year



Description

The HR Administrator is a key member of the People Team, responsible for ensuring the smooth running of core HR operations. This role blends strong administrative capability with a light advisory touch supporting employees and managers with everyday queries, maintaining accurate records, and keeping people processes on track.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who’s passionate about people and eager to learn. You’ll be at the heart of a busy, friendly HR team, supporting colleagues at every level of the organisation and building relationships across multiple departments. This role is perfect for someone who loves being organised, detailed-orientated, enjoys variety in their day and wants to develop their skills in a supportive environment where no two days are the same!

This is a six-month fixed term contract. The role offers a hybrid and flexible working approach, you are required to attend our Cardiff HQ at least two days per week.



What will you be doing?

* Prepare and issue employment-related documentation.
* Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
* Support regular audits and input of HR data and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Act as a first point of contact for routine HR queries, providing clear and consistent guidance on policies and processes.
* Support coordination of internal HR processes.
* Assist in preparing reports or summaries for internal use.
* Oversee office facilities, supplies, and health & safety checks.



What does good look like?

Essential:
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Confident in making informed decisions in a timely manner and taking ownership of solutions.
* Ability to build and maintain trusted stakeholder relationships.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in an HR administrative or coordination role.
* Experience using HRIS platforms (We use Hi-Bob).
* Familiarity with basic UK employment law and HR compliance requirements.
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 Qualification.
