We are seeking a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team as a Scaffold/Labourer Apprentice.This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and training in construction site support, working alongside skilled professionals to develop your skills in scaffolding, safety protocols, and basic construction tasks.Initially starting in the yard (based in Lurgan) to gain experience working with and handling scaffold materials, with an aim to be progressing to working onsite labouring, then after further training we would like to mentor applicants throughout the required scaffold training.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the installation, dismantling, and maintenance of scaffolding structures
* Support the construction team with general labour tasks on-site
* Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
* Load and unload materials and equipment
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Learn and adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
* Assist with other duties as assigned to support project needs
Skills and Qualifications
* Motivated to learn and develop a career in construction.
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willingness to undertake training and gain relevant certifications
