Hayward Hawk are delighted to be working with our client to help recruit for an experienced HR officer to take ownership of daily HR operations and contribute to building a progressive, legally compliant, and high-performing workplace environment. This role offers exposure across the full spectrum of people processes and has a clear development route toward a leadership position. What you'll do Drive recruitment efforts from job design through to successful onboarding and induction Provide guidance and lead on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and attendance matters Oversee reviews during probation and performance cycles, supporting talent development and succession planning Lead internal initiatives focused on engagement, company culture, and social impact Ensure HR records, systems, and policies are maintained in accordance with legal and organisational standards across both NI and ROI Deliver regular reports and insights to inform leadership decision-making Plan and track employee learning and upskilling activities Collaborate with finance on accurate payroll administration Coordinate employee benefit schemes and assist with compliance activities related to Health & Safety and ISO standards What you'll need Minimum of five years experience in a generalist HR role, with at least two in a senior advisory or officer-level position CIPD Level 5 qualification or above Strong understanding of employment legislation and HR practice in Northern Ireland Experience managing the full employment journey from hiring through to offboarding Organised and effective communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels Preferred awareness of employment legislation in the Republic of Ireland Desireable to have a membership in a recognised professional HR body Familiarity with data privacy regulations and workplace health & safety standards Hear more?
