HR Manager – 8 Month FTC
St Albans (Hybrid), £65,000 pro rata + bonus
We are currently partnering with a well-established and growing organisation based in St Albans to recruit an experienced HR Manager on an 8-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and hands-on HR professional to make a real impact across the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert support on employee relations matters and coach managers
* Manage end-to-end recruitment and partner with managers on hiring needs
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and lead HR audits (e.g. RTW, GDPR, IR35)
* Produce HR reports and insights using HRIS data
* Act as HRIS lead, maintaining data accuracy and improving system functionality
* Support salary benchmarking, pay reviews, and benefits processes
* Drive performance management and support learning & development initiatives
About You
* Proven HR Manager experience across the full employee lifecycle
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
* Experience with HRIS systems (ideally Cascade/IRIS) and data reporting
* Demonstrated success managing recruitment, audits, and ER cases
* High attention to detail with a “completer-finisher” mindset
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively
