Head of People, Learning & Development
Location: Tyne and Wear
Salary: Up to £60,000
We’re partnering with a dynamic and growing organisation to find a strategic Head of People, Learning & Development. In this senior role, you’ll lead the people agenda, drive a positive, high-performing culture, and help shape the L&D strategy to support business growth and success.
You'll work closely with senior leaders to ensure the organisation has the right talent and leadership to achieve its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a People & L&D strategy aligned to business objectives.
* Advise and challenge senior leaders, contributing at Board level.
* Lead initiatives to embed a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
* Oversee leadership development, performance management, and skill gap identification.
* Lead workforce planning and recruitment, ensuring policies are compliant and effective.
* Drive collaboration and continuous improvement within the People function.
About You:
You’re an experienced People leader with a strong background in HR and/or L&D. You have a strategic mindset, hands-on experience, and are comfortable advising senior stakeholders.
Your skills include leadership development, workforce planning, and a practical approach to HR best practices.
