Air Freight Sales Executive
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 or 09:00–18:00
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum + Commission
Availability: Immediate or as soon as possible
Position Summary:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented
Sales Executive
with proven experience in the air freight industry. This role is focused on developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of air freight operations and a strong commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
* Prepare and present competitive solutions and service proposals to prospective customers.
* Collaborate with the pricing and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
* Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs through proactive client engagement and strategic selling.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
* Represent the company professionally in meetings, calls, and industry events.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in air freight sales or a similar commercial role within the logistics industry.
* Proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Familiarity with air freight pricing structures, Incoterms, and international logistics.
* Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience working with global freight networks and multinational clients.
* Knowledge of customs procedures and international trade documentation.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
