Quality Manager Location: Relocation to Selsey Chichester required Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience) Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm, Panama's Day Shift Pattern Holidays: 22 Shifts Pension: 5% Contribution About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Quality Manager to join our dynamic food manufacturing team. You'll play a key leadership role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance across the site, leading a team of QA professionals to ensure that all products meet customer and regulatory expectations. This is a hands-on role, perfect for a proactive leader with a passion for continuous improvement, technical excellence, and team development. Key Responsibilities Ensure food safety, technical standards, and customer Codes of Practice are implemented and upheld Lead and develop QA Team Leaders while overseeing all QA/QC functions Drive food safety and GMP standards through regular factory audits and proactive issue resolution Manage customer complaints, audits, and non-conformance investigations with timely, accurate responses Support new product launches through feasibility sessions and collaboration with Production and Process Development Maintain HACCP compliance and manage internal auditing schedules Coach, mentor, and develop the QA team and wider stakeholders Maintain accurate nutritional and shelf-life data in line with product variations Promote a culture of safety through risk assessments, training, and performance management Identify and report any potential risks related to modern slavery or ethical compliance Skills & Experience Required Food Safety Level 3 qualification (minimum) HACCP Level 2 knowledge and strong understanding of BRC standards and customer Codes of Practice Proven experience leading and developing teams within a food manufacturing environment (fresh food experience ideal) Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Passionate about food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement Why Join Us Competitive salary with potential Overtime allowance for additional shifts Pension scheme and structured progression opportunities across multiple sites Supportive leadership with a focus on professional development Opportunities for training and advancement across a network of factories
