My client, a well run Blue Chip Building Contractor, are looking for a Logistics Site Manager to work on a framework of refurbishment and new build projects £4 million to £10 million The Logistics Manager will be responsible the delivery of all logistical aspects of the project and must be an effective communicator.\n\nThe desired Logistics Manager must have the following:\n\nExperience of running projects up to £5 million \nTop Tier Contractor background. SMSTS NVQ5 CSCS\nA record of being client facing.\nProject leadership qualities and exceptional soft skills.\nStrong health and safety awareness and management.\nStrong technical and financial acumen.\n\nControlling all aspects of H&S on site, your key responsibilities will include programming work schedule and monitoring building progress ensuring compliance with regulations and cost limitations. You will manage site inductions, method statements, risk assessments, toolbox talks, and permits to work.
Your remit will also include logistics planning, plant and labour resources management as well as progress meetings with site team and subcontractors. You will ideally have some previous exposure to government funded construction projects.\n\nProfile:\nIn order to be considered you must have a strong construction background and have previously worked for a quality contractor.
