HR Officer - Payroll and Work Force Planner My client is one of the UK and Ireland's leading manufacturers, providing high-quality products through sustainable, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Due to continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a HR Officer (Payroll and Work Force Planner) to join their team based in Antrim. This is a Full-Time Permanent Position. Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-1.30pm With a salary of £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Role: You will be responsible for providing key HR support across attendance, resource planning, payroll processing and general HR administration. Essential Criteria: Previous HR Administration or HR Officer experience Proven HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or shift-based environment Strong knowledge of attendance and resource planning processes Familiarity with payroll systems and reporting IT proficient with the use of Microsoft Excel and HR systems/dashboards Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload while adhering to deadlines Main Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and update daily attendance Liaise with Operations to ensure correct headcount (HC) per section Ensure actual versus budgeted resource alignment Manage holiday requests and track holiday thresholds throughout the year Update employee roles and fob access, supporting accurate attendance reporting Support payroll processing (2 days per week) Assist in monthly bonus reviews Run payroll-related reports and resolve queries Manage long-term sick leave within a 30-day dashboard window Offboard leavers from internal systems Assist managers with return-to-work procedures Refer absence and conduct issues to HR for disciplinary/investigation Support with recruitment request reviews and HR documentation Monitor absence voicemails and fobs not working Circulate daily absence updates to Operations Run daily/weekly absence and excessive break reports Update and review workforce dashboard each morning HR admin Check and review dashboard at 8:15am Check voicemails and absence calls Email operations with absence email and voicemail update Request update from Ops via email Review holidays requests with Managers Assist with return-to-works Skills: HR Officer HR Human Resources Permanent Antrim
