To carry out day-to-day production tasks, including ingredient preparation, cooking, filling and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the production area.
Responsibilities
* Follow production schedules and work orders accurately.
* Operate machinery and equipment safely (e.g., kettles, mixers, blenders etc.).
* Weigh and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications.
* Monitor quality of products (appearance, consistency, temperature).
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations and follow hygiene procedures.
* Record production data, batch codes, and completion times.
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
* Report any safety or quality issues to Team Leader or Supervisor.
* Comply with food safety, allergen, and Health & Safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of hygiene and safety in the workplace.
* Basic numeracy skills.
* Previous experience in food production preferred but not essential.
* Ability to follow instructions.
